We strip image metadata automatically on upload, so a photo of a piece in your studio doesn't also broadcast your studio's address.

Inquire.art works as a private system first. Each work stays off your public profile unless you put it there, and nothing leaves your account unless you send it.
Your data leaves when you do
Close your account and we delete your data within 30 days. If you don't need the buffer, instant deletion is available too.

I've been on both sides of this. I studied fine art, I've collected art for years, and I've spent the last decade designing software.
For a while now I've also kept catalogs for the artists I work with. A database in the back, a website bolted on the front, a spreadsheet tracking where every piece was. It worked, barely. And every time a collector asked to see more, the answer was a PDF or a batch of photos sent over DM.
Website builders and Shopify don't solve this. They're built to sell products, and they hand you a thousand design decisions along the way. A catalog should stay consistent and have the expected sharing control. The design should step back so the work comes forward. Original art sells through conversation, so every piece carries an Inquire button that starts one directly with you.
Inquire.art holds the record of your practice in one place: every piece, where it is, who has it. When someone asks to see more, you can share a single work or put together a catalog for them in minutes, sent as a private link. Frequently asked questions
Do you take commissions on sales?
No. It's a flat subscription. We are not an online shop, so when a collector inquires you simply get an email from them and can handle the transaction on your terms.
Do I have to show prices?
No. Prices stay hidden unless you turn them on, and you choose separately for each link you share.
What happens when a collector clicks Inquire?
They send an email directly to you. Inquiries do not pass through us and we don't store them.
Can I include sold work?
Yes. Mark it as Not Available or Sold and it stays visible. Sold work often leads to commissions. You can use Inquire as your complete archive and catalog, whether the work is available or not.
Do collectors need an account to view my catalog?
No. They only need the link, plus a password if the catalog is private.
How do private links work?
Make a link for each place you share: a person, a post, or your website. See which ones get opened, set an expiry, control prices, and turn any link off anytime. Passwords are optional.
Can I share a single artwork instead of a whole catalog?
Yes, share artwork links directly from your dashboard.
Will my work show up next to other artists?
No. There's no directory or discovery feed, and your profile belongs to you alone.
Is there an app?
It runs in your phone's browser and can be added to your home screen. No app store needed.
What happens if I close my account?
Your data is deleted after 30 days, or instantly if you choose.
